About Me
Denise Burningham, LMFT
she/her or they/them
Hi! I am glad you are here and searching for the support you deserve.
I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Art: Printmaking at Whitworth University and my Masters in Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle. I have 15+ years of experience working with individuals and specialize in working with children, teens and families with economic barriers and life stressors. I work with LGBTQIA, kink, polyamorous, ENM, and neurodivergent identified folks in undoing aloneness and navigating the impacts of oppression and being human in a world that isn’t always supportive of our diverse identities.
My practice as a therapist is built on compassion, social justice, creativity, humor, honesty, and authenticity with my clients. I know that life can be messy, difficult, and is sometimes completely unjust. I believe providing collaborative support can help my clients navigate their unique stressors to find more peace in their life and relationships.
I look forward to hearing from you and being a support as you move closer to where you want to be.
